Glorifying God Through Music

Music is an integral part of our worship services at First Baptist St. Charles. The Bible tells us that when we offer our lives to God for His purpose, we are actually participating in an act of worship (Romans 12:1). Consequently, when we join together to worship, it is simply a culmination of practicing a lifestyle of worship. Music for our 9:30am service is led by choir and orchestra, while the music for the 11:00am service is band led.

The Music Ministry at First Baptist St. Charles offers many opportunities to participate, including choirs, vocal and instrumental ensembles, and bands. If you have a heart for music, you will find opportunities for vocalists and musicians of all ages.

WORSHIP CHOIR

The worship choir sings every Sunday morning during our 9:30am worship service, as well as many special events throughout the year. We want to honor God in all that we do, recognizing our purpose is to lead people in worshiping God through music, and to create an environment in which they may connect with God and experience worship.

The choir is open to anyone post high school age and older who has a passion and desire to sing. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm.

The Worship Orchestra is a group of musicians who are called to use their talents to serve God. The orchestra enhances the music, providing an atmosphere conducive to worship during our 9:30am Sunday worship services as well as seasonal presentations.
