Missions

The Kingdom of God reaches beyond First Baptist St. Charles, which is exactly why we are so excited to be involved in missions. From right here in St. Charles to the ends of the earth, there are several ways to join us as we live on mission. We do all this for the love of God and the love of people!

How Our Missions Are Funded

How Our Missions Are Funded

  • 9% of our undesignated receipts goes to The Cooperative Program and 2% to Association Missions.
  • Missions Offering is the means for funding our mission’s budget, including giving to State, North America (Annie Armstrong), and International Missions (Lottie Moon). The Missions Offering is a commitment to the Lord, not a pledge to the church. This offering is a gift given above your church offering, and may be given by using the MISSIONS OFFERING line provided on the offering envelopes.
Women's Missions

Women's Missions

Women's Missions is dedicated to serving beyond the walls of our church through prayer, evangelism, mission awareness, and hands-on service. Through Women on Mission (WOM), a ministry of the Southeran Baptist WMU, women have opportunities to support mission projects, participate in outreach efforts, and make a meaningful impact in our community and around the world.

These groups sponsor several mission collections, support ministries & mission projects such as:

  • Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
  • St. Charles Elementary School District Food Backpacks
  • Bible & Bible Study Literature Collection for Love Packages
  • Quilting for the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home
