Mission Statement

  • To encourage continued spiritual growth through bible studies and small groups,
  • To promote supportive Christian friendships and fellowship among women,
  • To offer opportunities for mission ministries, outreach and service, and
  • To offer social activities which benefit the well-being of our members and women of the community. 

The following ministry groups exist to help accomplish our mission:

Baptist Young Women (BYW)

A group of women with missions on their hearts.  Our ministry includes education and support of missions and each meeting is unique.  The group has a mix of special projects and participates in the mission programs of our church.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month at noon in the church gym and start with a delicious lunch.  The fellowship is great!  If you have a heart for missions, please come and join us we would love to have you be a part of this great group of women.

  • Handmade Teddy Bears for Missions
  • Cross Stitch Quilt for Strawberry Festival
  • Festival of the Little Hills Hospitality Booth
  • Samaritans Purse Shoe Boxes

 

Worship with Women (WWW)

A group of women of all ages sponsoring three major events throughout the year and a variety of interest groups to promote spiritual support and unity, friendships, and fellowship among women.  We strive to enable women to be all God wants them to be.  Come join the group for a mixture of bible studies, activities, and just plain fun among Christian women.  We would love to hang out with you, come hang out with us!

  • First Baptist Readers Book Club
  • Saturday Specials/Retreats

 

Women on Missions (WOM)

A missions organization for adult women ages 18 and over focusing on missions awareness, witnessing, praying and mission-focused bible study.  We meet twice a month for missions' education and participation in a variety of mission projects.  We invite you to be a part of the promoted activities whether or not you are able to attend the meetings.  We want you to join us!
