normal and natural. My role is to lead First Baptist through this time of transition until God leads His man to
become your next pastor. There is a difference between change and transition. Change is situational (i.e. a new boss, a new job, a new location.) Transition is psychological (the process we go through to come to terms with the new situation.)"

"As the interim leader, I will walk the church through the process of getting ready for your next pastor. I believe that my job is not to add sanity and order to an irrational system. The church is busting at the seams with rationality, decency, order, dignity and predictability. What it needs is a holy intoxication of foolishness, humor, craziness, outrageousness, creative disorder, and passion."
